Fire College Expansion ??

I Read in the paper today that they were expanding the fire college($2.9 million ),great idea,BUT if ACC is moving out of their buildings,would it not be better to make use of their empty buildings when they move to the hill ??
Or do they already have plans for these buildings once ACC moves ?
