Window and door replacement: Thoughts appreciated

Hello all the fine ebrandon people...
I need to replace some windows and my back door...I will be getting a few estimates done by local companies...but what I am wondering...should there be any that I should call for sure and some that I should steer clear of???
Any help is most appreciated...
