Keystone Development Possible
3/3/2008 at 7:15 PM
This is from CKLQ News:
"The southern portion of the Keystone grounds could be opened up for development. A request for proposals could be ready in a month.
Keystone chair Ken Fitzpatrick says there's about 10 acres that could see multiple developments..
Fitzpatrick says they will look at the best fit for the Keystone Centre
He says they are prepared to deal with opposition to any proposed changes".

It looks like Mr.Fitzpatrick has the problems of the Keystone Center solved. He is slowly selling it off in small chunks. First the area for the Canada Inn, and now ten acres of summer parking lot in the southern part of the complex. The Canada Inn sure helped us out with their promises of revenue and then to find an accounting error and clawed back half a million dollars. Who new? Does this mean he will not be able to charge parking fees for events because he is selling the parking facilities. Where are the Keystone patrons, or the rigs for the Summer Fair to park? On richmond avenue I guesse. He says he is ready to combat all opposition to his plan. That sounds like a threat to the citizens of Brandon to me.
