    Today I noticed a weird haze in the air, the constant smell of burnt plastic, and just what smelled like a fire burning in general. I was curious to know if anyone else noticed this? Is there a fire burning in or near Brandon? Or is it possible its from some where else? I had to close all the windows in the house because at one point it smelled that bad.

    It starts at Alexander and is all through grand valley. No idea what it is from though.

    There is a forest fire around Flin Flon, I am north of Brandon an hour, and an Alexander fire wouldn't give us this much haze.

    I wasn't meaning the fire is in Alexander, I just meant that's where the smokey haze started along #1.

    Smoke everywhere

    It seems like its Smokey everywhere in Manitoba. Winnipeg media was reporting that it was Smokey in Winnipeg today even and the smoke is coming from forest fires in northern Saskatchewan.
