Last night was picking up my daughter. There was a police car parked right in the middle of 26th street at MacTavish. Kept going North on 26th St. Another one at 26th and Lorne. Looking East on Lorne there was a whole series of police vehicles parked at various intersections and then another one parked West on Princess avenue. Lights flashing and again, parked right in the middle of the intersections.

Accident in back lane on 25th. Could see flashing lights for blocks. No idea what or who.

STOLEN VEHICLE  
 
Just after 11:00 pm last night, a resident of Shilo reported the theft of his pickup truck which was parked the 300 block of 11th Street. While Police were speaking with the victim of the theft, the vehicle was observed travelling westbound on Lorne Avenue in the 1100 block. Police caught up to the vehicle and when attempting to stop it, the suspect slowed, exited the vehicle while it was still in motion and fled on foot in the 100 block alley of 25th Street. The vehicle in turn continued on and collided with a garage causing extensive damage to both the vehicle and the garage. Police made attempts to apprehend the fleeing suspect, however were unsuccessful. The incident is currently under investigation.
