They returned it somewhere else? To bath and body works or one of the places in the food court?

Would taking it to guest services had been a bad thing...?

To the store. I work at bath and body works... a lot of times people return lost bags to the store!!! Just go in and ask if a bag of wallflowers had been returned, not everyone thinks to take lost merchandise to customer service.

This post kind of bothers me... Yes it sucks that your bag was stolen, but you also left it behind... Not trying to start anything or point fingers but it seems a bit unnecessary to post an angry post at someone you don't even know who probably will never see this because of your own mistake. I too am like you and hope that if I were to leave something behind, the person who found it would do the right thing and turn it in as I would do the same. But if that is not in fact the case then lesson learned.

The thread should be entitled LOST bag, not stollen, as there is no proof it was stolen. It could have been returned to any number of places, it was only lost last night, so there is still hope of it being turned in somewhere.
