Does anybody know which banks besides cibc have the visa debit cards? And do they charge a fee to set up an account? Thanks

TD has this feature, not sure about a fee to set up the account as I have been with TD for nearly 30 years.

RBC does and I don't think there is a fee to set it up.

and I think they just sent it to me one their own a few years back, and I don't remember paying anything. I just had to call to activate it if I planned on using it, and I have on occasion.

Td has visa debit it's the same card as your regular debit card as well if you sign up for an unlimited or all inclusive checking account before July 31st and complete two transactions by September 11th get a free Samsung galaxy tab a http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/m/edb/index.jsp

RBC does have a visa debit card that can be used in the states, we have enjoyed this option for the last five years when we have travelled south of the border.
