I am surprised that Brandon doesn't have a disc golf course. I wonder if there would be enough interest in the city to get one.

If you are interested in playing Ultimate you can always check out the Westman Ultimate Disc League. There are pickup games on Sunday during the summer. 7-9pm at the Sportsplex.

I think a disc golf course is a great idea for Brandon. There are courses in Winnipeg, Neepawa, Morden and across the border there are more in towns like Minot and Bismark. I just returned from a visit to the Comox Valley in BC (pop 65000) and was able to play four courses.  
 
The challenge is that until people play on a real course with tee pads and baskets etc they probably won't get hooked on it. This makes it tough to start a new course in a community that hasn't had the chance to enjoy disc golf.
