Hi, so I know nothing about shipping things from the US to the boarder, does anyone know a company that holds things there? How does it work? Who do I contact? Do you fill in a certain address and then pick it up there?

You really have to be careful when using border shipping services. While they are the nicest people and have the best intentions, their record keeping and organization didn't keep up with their growth. Their "records" consist of a stack of loose leaf papers shoved in a desk drawer and we've had them loose things in the past after having it written down that they received it. If something does get lost, they offer no recourse in finding it or being compensated for the lost item and simply offer a shrug and a call if it turns up, which none of them did.  
 
If you are ordering big items like tires or equipment, you're probably ok but I certainly wouldn't have anything small or expensive sent there.

I have been shipping to them for over 5 years and likely picked up over 500 packages and never had one lost. I have shipped big, small, cheap and super expensive. No issues at all. $5 for first box, $3 for every additional one and I think $10 for over 50lbs and $20 for ove 100lbs and if they need to use their forklift. They ask you pick up within 2 weeks but a couple extra days they never complain.

and never had a problem with small things such as envelopes or much larger packages/objects. Their tracking may not be perfect but they have been offering an extremely valuable service for years and years. Take a look at the names on parcels next time you are there and some prominent names are seen as well as many businesses.

And I just realized I spelled it wrong, I can't edit now but *Border services* (needed my coffee earlier ha)

Parcels are dusty and smell like cigarette smoke, but I have never had any parcels lost at Border Services. I have had parcels lost by the US postal service, but that isn't the fault of the Vanornys.
