Hi Everyone,  
 
We want to buy some shop equipment i.e. shelvings, coolers, freezers, scanner register? I can buy new or if a shop is closing, can buy out from there. I checked the Russell catalogue but its not so comprehensive and wouldn't show prices. Please help.  

Call Jim at Action Retail in Winnipeg. They have all kinds of shelving in stock, both mew and used. Not sure if they have some of the other stuff you are asking about though. 204-784-2600. They are located on Madison Street, not too far from Polo Park.  

If you are a Costco member, but we have found phenomenal pricing on business services through them. I do believe you have to be an executive member ($110/year), but it has been worth it for us.  
 
We have our POS through them - Elavon I believe. Dirt cheap for processing, and we bought our own terminal so no rental (and it was about half of what other companies are trying to sell POS terminals for).  
 
We also use their cheque printing services as the cheques are a fraction of what the banks charge. (Got free envelopes with my order too)  
 
Got a smoking deal on a group insurance plan as well.  
 
We buy all of our computer equipment and supplies through them as well. Things like ink cartridges are less than a third of what Staples sells them for - and is usually delivered free to your door.

They also have a ton of equipment like cash registers, open/closed signs, etc.  
 
I am not sure but does Olivers' Bistro (across from the YMCA) not advertise as a supply store?  
 
We lucked in to an amazing restaurant supply store just outside of Guelph on our recent family holiday. I believe it was called STOP. (which is why we stopped, tee hee.) Think Russels but bigger and more warehouse like. Not sure if they are online or not for some pricing.

Gets in some nice industrial shelving, held up great in the shop environment for three years so far.

I have a lot of used shop and kitchen equipment. Lots of shelves
