I see Canadian Tire is advertising a gas sale today. Didn't catch the price. 15 or so cars lined up as of 11:30am

Price is 5 cents off the posted of 109.9, so it's 104.9.

LMAO! That is a gas sale? I would be lucky to save 5 bucks in my truck but probably have to wait 30 minutes in line for it. Average person might save 3 bucks give or take?

They need to seriously look for a place to build another larger gas bar. They need to triple the amount of pumps they have now. Its lined up all the time.

And they want you to apply for a credit card while you wait in that line.. I totally fell for it once to save like a whole dollar.. Wasted more gas waiting in line being pestered about the credit card by three people..

Go to Safeway!!! Spend over 30 dollars in groceries and get five cents off gas every time, up to 15 cents if you spend more! Then get gas and get 5 cents back per litre to spend in store! Every day!! Best deal going!!

Say groceries are too much there! They are not! And you can even go just for their loss leaders like the big discount items of the week and milk and bread if you want to say they are too much.

Went to the gas sale too once and it is definitely to get their credit card out there more. It was way too busy and I wouldn't go to it again.

Be a pretty bad day if I lined up for that shit. Ok have 100 liter tank....Oooo $5. Got better things to do. Than wait in line.

I'm pretty good at watching the pennies (nickles) but I also value my time, and as mentioned above, sitting in line for xx minutes to save $5.00 on gas may not really be much of a bargain. At least not to me.

When you pay for your gas at Superstore with their debit/credit card, you get 10.5 cents/l towards in store purchases, everyday. 100 litres, $10.50 towards groceries.

When we went to wpg yesterday am gas was 104.9 at the co-op before MacGregor. On the way home they lowered it to 102.9 We filled up in Carman at 105.9 Maybe instead of a sale we should just be getting a better deal in town period.
