If anyone who is interested in trains would like to see a shipment of wind turbines by rail, one is going through Brandon this afternoon on the CP tracks. The train is scheduled to depart town about 1645 today. The best place to observe it would probably be at the north end of 34th St. across from the golf course. You could probably also get a good view from anywhere along Assiniboine on the north side of the yard between 8th and 18th.  
 
PLEASE keep back from the tracks as the turbine tower parts are extremely large. Besides, it's dangerous and illegal to play around the tracks anyway!

I'm currently in Yorkton and won't see them.

The kids would have loved to see that! My son is obsessed with both trains and windmills! LOL
