There are some people going door to door selling those Crime Stoppers Coupon books. So maybe it was them.

We liked our book from them last year. They had a display just inside the south doors at Walmart.  
 
Does anyone know if they going to do this again this year or where else to get the coupon books?

The guy that came and saw me at my office yesterday told me that they will have a table set up at Superstore starting Thursday through the weekend.

the crime stoppers sellers are wearing red shirts with a logo on it. Been to my work and at home already but for me the book would be useless. A lot of restaurant coupons so if you don't eat out it doesn't pay.

We bought the Crime Stoppers discount card a few years back. Does anyone know if this is the card that has the Shopper's Drug Mart discount on it? That discount alone usually pays for the card all by itself.

I didn't see a Shoppers discount: just alot of restaurants. I had a guy come to my door last week who said they weren't selling them at stores anymore. I was a little taken aback by how pushy he was. I had wanted these coupons in the past so took the time to look at which ones were on there. I told him I wouldn't use it very much as I have a new baby. His whole demeanor then changed to be very rude, he grabbed the coupons out of my hands, turned on his heels and left.

The Neelin football team sells the cards with the Shopper's discount tag. They'll be at the shopper's mall this weekend at a booth selling them. I believe they'll also have kids going door to door selling, but that hasn't started yet. I could also get you one if you want to PM me.

The Neelin Spartans football team is going to be at the Shoppers Mall (at the doors by Smitty's) from 9:00am-3:00pm selling their discount cards, on Saturday, August 22nd.  
 
Just a heads up that they will be going door to door on Wednesday, August 26th. I will suggest to their coach to have the boys wear their jerseys. That way, it will be easy to identify who they are and let people know they are legitimately selling the discount cards.

I'm not a fan of rural door to door sales unless I know the people. We had a book sales guy come last year and he was super creepy. I couldn't get him out of my yard fast enough.  
I volunteer for a couple local charities to canvass my neighbourhood just for this reason.

I listened to the speech and looked through the coupons. I told the guy there were only two coupons that I would actually use so no thanks. He told me I could give the others to family and friends. I told him no, again. He then told me I could give them to shelters and help the community. I told him NO. I was very disappointed in his persistence and his attitude sucks. No means no. The first time.  
 
Personally, I'm tired of solicitors coming to my workplace trying to sell junk to raise money. We have a business to run. From now on, the answer is no and I don't want to hear about whatever it is being pushed at me.

Similar experiences with pushy sellers. One told me the same as above. That i could give unused coupons to friends. Even though i insisted no thanks. While he was in my office at work! The 2nd wouldn't leave my front step even though i have a no solicitor sign on the door.

Crimestoppers guy was so aggressive I gave him the money so he would leave. I was very uncomfortable.

Perfect, yes this is the card I was thinking of. We've had the football discount cards over the years and I knew that one of the teams had the Shopper's Drug Mart discount. Thanks. I will try to get to the Mall this Saturday. If not I will PM you.

What color of jerseys do I watch for? I missed getting to the Mall this past weekend for the discount care. Are the players going to be canvassing certain areas? I'm in the west end. Could I PM you my address or could you come by a work location?
