Anyone else get a strange call supposedly from Rogers tech support asking for info on account and claiming that they will be doing tower repairs and that they will be giving 40% discount once an email form is filled out and sent back to them??

call Rogers to see if it was a scam? I see nothing on the web about this one.

They said that it's not true that they are working on the towers and they wouldn't give that large of a discount , should have known from that!

they would give a discount....I cannot even get service in most of the province where they claim to have 4G service. I have asked a million times why and their answer is  
"WE DON"T REALLY KNOW and YOU ARE THE FIRST ONE WE EVER HEARD THAT COMPLAINT FROM"  
I am certain I am not....LOL

Even with a booster, we are getting an extremely spotty connection. It says 4G, LTE, no service, not registered on the network...  
 
This can be in any order at any given time. It is beginning to feel like a few other providers that we ditched in the past, and it is so frustrating if it is messing with your phone.  
 
We wait a minute or a few hours (or more) and it connects for a bit.  
 
That is not good service if it is so unreliable. We have had really no issues like this until the past 4 days.

is not just with Rogers. We have friends that have just slightly better service from MTS and they get the same answer when they call except MTS seems to actually care and look into it. Rogers makes me angry when they say it is their first hearing it.... I call BS  
 
Oh I forgot to mention 4G, E and now the new one I had never seen before G.... for garbage I think.
