That looks awful. But people on here will praise it simply because of local 5 second scenes

I think the trailer looks great. Be a movie to pull on the heart strings I'm sure.  
 
To OneMoreTime... so what that people are excited that there city is featured in a major Hollywood production. I'm sure that won't be the only reason that people around here go and see it.

what the studio says doesn't count? They did an investigation. Or does it have to come from PETA /TMZ?

TMZ is trash news just like reading the trash enquirer and any other trash magazines. TMZ only showed part of what happened and guess what there was no animal cruelty happening while filming geezzzzzz. They even interviewed the owner of "Herman" the dog and he looked pretty happy to me....no signs of abuse period. I have a dog of my own and do not take cruelty & animal abuse lightly but PETA / TMZ has over exaggerated with this story....I for one will be watching this movie.

Just heard on the news, the movie opened this weekend and grossed 18 million at the box office. Nearly covered the 21 millions they spent making the film in the first few days at the box office.  
 
I'm gonna go ahead and agree with grandmaB's statement that TMZ isn't reputable. Their claim is right up there with the Huffington post and their sort. Glamorized false claims.  
 
When in fact the movie is said to be some sort of an advocate against the abuse and mistreatment of pets.
