Iconic Signage suggestion.
A suggestion on whether or not Brandon should move ahead with creating iconic signage will be in front of city council before the end of the month.
Last year, council put aside $10,000 dollars to examine if the creation of a type of unique signage would be feasible.
Economic Development Officer Sandy Trudel says their research on the matter is near completion.
Examples of Iconic Signage locally are the Boissevain Turtle, or the big rock statue out at Gladstone. CKLQ.
What a waste of money, $10,000 to browse the Web? My suggestion is to build a large Jackass with an arrow pointing to City Hall: every Canadian will understand its significance.
