Does anyone know why there was that huge stack of smoke around noon today? It looked like it might have been on 18th and the Trans Canada. Fire trucks were flashing their lights near the Corral Centre.

Yes the smoke was coming from the Manitoba Emergency Services College(fire college) training site at the airport. They were setting fire and then putting them out all morning.
