1st street mugging

"A male and female were robbed at 11PM last night as they walked in the 800 block of 1st Street. The couple were approached by approximately 6 youths carrying knifes and bats and wearing red bandannas on their faces. The suspects were described as ranging in age from 8 to 15 years of age and all wearing red shirts and dark pants. The male victim had his hoodie stolen while the female victim had her purse taken. Neither were injured in the robbery."
Sounds like as pre-medicated an act as you can have. Let's hope this is a one-time occurrence.. the last thing we need is people worrying about running into these little clowns after dark.
I must have just missed having a chance to interrupt this.. was driving by the same block around 20 to 11. As one person, my options would still be pretty limited... honk the heck out of the horn and make it pretty clear that I'm on the phone to you-know-who.
