hi I was trying to look up if its legal to have a toddler in the front seat of a truck, it's only a two seater truck with no back seats but couldn't find a answer. is this legal? Are there any extra safety clips u need or can buy? I know I read the airbag needs to be off, anything you can tell me helps thanks

Air bags have to be off and the child has to be in a seat appropriate for age/size. If in a car seat with a 5 point harness, it needs to be installed just as if it were in a backseat, and if in a booster seat, you need a shoulder belt, not just a lap belt.

As far as I know, you can stop by the fire station and they will inspect your car seat/truck to make sure it obeys the laws, and is safe for your child.

It's legal

Unless laws have changed in very recent times I can confirm it is legal. I checked on this with fire department for my toddler previously.
