Is anybody else having problems with mts Internet tonight

I had terrible service with MTS. Bought a new phone as they told me that it was the phone!,  
Switched to westman cable and they are worse. Live in The city on the north hill. The service really sucks you would think I lived in the middle of nowhere!  
Can get excellent service when I am in the town centre parkade!!!  
What gives things should be getting better not worse.  
What would you do.

Mine is fine, a solid 27 Mbps like always.

Sherlock, there must be more than what you told us.  
Are you having trouble only with your phone on the MTS cell phone service or with your MTS internet access via wifi?

I'm not sure why so many folks post about issues. We have, tv,Internet, cable, and I can count on 1 hand the times we've had any issues. I've had westman and would never consider switching. And for cell service, no way any other company can do it better. If you live in the middle of but shit nowhere, service may suck. Deal!! Maybe you bought a crap phone, I dunno. I will stick mts, cause it always works.

We've had MTS for a couple years after using Westman for many years. We were having speed issues on and off for a while. We found if we plugged directly to the MTS modem that speeds were as advertised, but some days Wi-Fi was horrible. If we used Wi-fi it was horrible. We had MTS come in and they said there were too many 2.4 ghz devices in our area that could be interfering with their modem. The tech suggested we try a new router so we purchased a dual band router. So now our son has great speeds directly connected to the modem and we have great speeds anywhere in the house when using 5 ghz from our router. Problem is, not all our wifi devices support 5ghz wifi. Go figure.
