the city council meeting tonite and...I was struck by something. I almost laughed. They were discussing the World Hockey Tournament "we" want to host and how everything was sooo confidential that they couldn't talk about anything that was discussed at an in-camera meeting but were there only to cast a vote on the bid to host. Mr. Jessimen had some questions which of course he couldn't ask because that would have compromised the in-camera meeting. Then the weirdest thing of all happened Mr. Jessimen inadvertently mentioned the Wpg bid and council went apoplectic, audible gasps were heard.  
 
Now here's the thing our bid was bandied all over the access channel and will no doubt be noted in the paper tomorrow so what the peepers was so sacrosanct about the Wpg bid?
