If so what is it like?

Drove by there a few weeks ago on a Saturday night and it was pretty hopping. Looks awesome via pics from their Facebook page. They are also liscenced now to serve alcohol!  
 
Definitely plan on checking it out soon....prices are very reasonable too!

A few times. Really relaxing place to go. They have great prices. They have lots of board games. Yes they are fully licensed, but it's a great family spot for those families who enjoy an evening out for cheap. I highly recommend going and checking it out. You will not be disappointed. They are located on 19th Street, behind the Old WEstern hotel across the Keystone Centre.

We went and played the life size Jenga game. It was a blast.  
Had some wings and a drink but when we went the liquor licence wasn't there yet, glad to hear they are now serving alcohol. Will be heading back soon.

Yes, I go every Wednesday night with a group of friends. Always have a great time, great customer service. First time we were there a couple of my friends asked if they had tea. The owner literally left and went to the store to get tea for them. Also a great and still expanding selection of boardgames to play.

I have been a few times and really enjoyed myself. They have a nice variety of games and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming - especially for newbies  
 
Brandon definitely needed something like this!

We went and checked it out last night, couldn't believe the huge selection of games. Very cool place

Haven't been yet but I'm glad to hear it's a hit. I think it's a cool idea and will be fun for double date nights!

This place is awesome! We had so much fun playing a game here! The people who run the place are awesome, they have a huge selection of games, and a great atmosphere!

Anyone know if the game Cafe is open today?

We went with friends this weekend and loved it, played Kingdom Builder and really enjoyed it. I was not expecting him to have that many games, was really blown away by the big selection. Didn't order any food but we had a few beverages and the guy working was friendly. We will go back for sure.

it's great to go there and play games with friends or even strangers. you find a common ground and voila - you made sum friends. you can learn a new game or play one you already know, purchase or rent.  
it's also a great place to get tournamanets going and such, like cribbage, or poker, party games even or games like warhammer, xwing or even rpg games like pathfinder.  
you can order food and drinks while u play. coffee, pop and even an adult beverage  
 
all in all - it's a great place thats something new and different Brandon has never seen as far as I know.

great selection of collectibles and every time i go in there ,there are even more geeky goodness I want all the ghost-busters pop figures ad i see that there are a few there.  
 
Also every time I go in I am greeted I feel at ease there I know that noone will put me down for wanting the things that I want, I also feel tgat if that were to happen James would put a stop to it.

Do they have classic board games or is it mostly just fandom stuff and the newer fantasy type things? Not that there's anything wrong with those! Just asking as I would like to go but am only familiar with games like monopoly and sorry and clue, those types!

I can answer this as we were just there last weekend and spent a pile of time going through the games.  
I dont remember seeing Sorry but they had Clue and monopoly for sure, a few versions of each. Other older favs like Sequence, Yahtzee, balderdash etc as well. Lots to pick from, trust me.
