Anyone received their tax bill yet?  
 
Yes, I have asked someone at city hall but haven't got an answer yet.

Hi, there. Property tax bills are not typically mailed out to property owners until mid-May of each year, with payment deadline set for the end of June.

I'm looking after stuff for a parent and they were asking about the school tax rebate and I had a look at the website and it states that the due date for applying was the end of March! Then it states the form will be sent out after the tax bills and I didn't know what to think!

is March 31 for the 2015 rebate.  
 
The forms for the 2016 rebate will likely be available sometime in May. Many seniors file as soon as the forms become available and they are processed after the city's tax due date (June 30).  
 
So, only 15 days left to file for the 2015 rebate - forms are available on-line.

I saw a ad in the Brandon Sun not long ago offering discounts on early payments of taxes.  
 
I think April 1st/May1/June 1 discounts.  
 
So one could phone or walk down to city Hall to see what their bill is now I assume.  
 
If the Billing/tax amounts are know by April one why wait to send the bills out?  
 
In todays day and age the tax owing along with the discounted amounts should go out ASAP.  
 
Then again if the amounts are known but paperwork takes time maybe Emails first.

The early payment you make this year is based on last years tax amount.
