Curious as to where to buy maternity clothes in Brandon? It is a fair sized city and I see many pregnant women, me included so I'm wondering where they are getting their clothes from? I sold all my previous clothes (I know silly move) and now am finding my regular clothes fitting small.

If you look at previous discussions this has been brought up a few times before and there's not much. Wal-Mart has a small section of active wear, belly bands and nursing bras but that's about it. I got most of my stuff either online from Thyme or Motherhood Maternity and the prices aren't bad if you watch for sales or you have to go to Winnipeg. If you're small to begin with I found I could get some nice empire waist tops and sweaters in a bigger size from Giant Tiger. Good luck!

If you don't mind secondhand, Value Village usually has an ok selection. Also there is quite often maternity stuff on sale on eBrandon. Other than that, online shopping! Old Navy has nice maternity stuff.

I purchased a few things from  
motherhood online but none of it fitted me well and sending it back cost more than what I paid to buy it! I find Thyme fits well as does Old Navy Maternity wear. Keep your eyes posted on here too for people selling their maternity wear if it's in good condition. I'm an xs and will be selling some stuff in around 4 weeks hopefully!!

Depending on what size you are I've got a pair of pretty much brand new jeans size 13 for sale in the classifieds.

A belly band from Walmart is your best friend! I was able to wear my regular pants using the belly band for most of my pregnancy. I dropped off a full garbage bag of maternity clothes at value village today if you don't mind second hand.

I would support Nearly New and the hospital.  
 
They have a great selection of clothing that would work for a very reasonable price.  

I find it hard to find plus size maternity clothes. I haven't looked at value village but maybe I will have to. Motherhood maternity has plus sizes but if you order online you have to return online as well. At least with thyme u can take back to the store if you had to.

I started a new and used site on FaceBook a while back because of the lack of maternity clothing in the Westman area. Also, I started another site for uniforms and medical scrubs under Brandon & Area Medical Scrubs and Uniforms. It too is on FaceBook. The ladies have maternity medical uniforms advertised. Please check us out!

I'm pregnant and just went to Walmart. The lady there showed me literally one clothing stand and said they are no longer going to be selling maternity clothing at Walmart.  
 
I'm good at sewing and made a couple items for myself during my last pregnancy. Otherwise you have to buy stuff online or in Winnipeg. Sad, eh?

Thank you for all the responses! I was quite surprised when I was in Walmart and was told they no longer sell mat clothing! Thanks for the name of the FB page, it seems almost all clothing is S-M and I would probably need XL but I'll keep checking for sure!

XL is a very popular size and go very quickly. Advertise for that size and the ladies will help you out. Someone out there has a closet full!

It will depend on your needs (I don't have a professional/working wardrobe because I'm home with kids), but I found I needed very little in way of maternity clothes. I did buy a few pairs of bottoms (from Motherhood.com), but otherwise I wear regular yoga pants (had to go up a size) and regular shirts cut with a empire-type waist (also needed to go up a size for some, although not all). Oh, and underwear. Maternity underwear is totally worth the money in that last trimester, LOL.  
 
I'm also tall, and I don't "show" as much as a smaller person just because my frame is so large. My belly never stuck out as much as a smaller person might, despite having 4 pregnancies and 8-9 lb babies.
