I'm looking at buying houses. Not ready yet but will be soon hopefully buy this summer,but have started looking at houses so I know what's out there . Everything I see in my price range is terrible. Well not everything but they all need work and that's fine because that's what a cheap house comes with. Almost all the houses I have looked at the bathroom is terrible.  
 
I'm just wondering how hard is it to gut and do a bathroom yourself. I have general construction expirece with drywall and stuff. im just wondering if it's actually somthing people can do themselves or is it a contractor kinda deal

I have done 3 complete bathroom renos and done all the work myself. Having said that, you need to have an array of tools, skills, and knowlege, so for sure its not something everyone could do. For example for a complete reno you will need to do plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting, tiles, flooring, the list goes on.

Anything is do-able as long as you have the time and a plan. Internet is a great resource and will cover most everything you need. Good luck and enjoy your creation.
