Noticed this morning footprints in the fresh snow going from vehicle to vehicle trying driver doors to see if they are unlocked. Some parked on the street, others in driveways. Make sure your vehicles are locked people!

lol was supposed to be a joke, unfortunately you are right, there are always people looking for the easy way out, dont give it to them, lock your doors and make them at least work for it

In my experience, it was in my best interest to keep my vehicle unlocked. Living in winnipeg previously, my vehicle was broken into 3 times. Each time they smashed my window, forcing me to pay out of pocket 3 deductibles.once I started leaving my doors unlocked, they would just open the doors and look for valuables. I never paid a deductible again.
