After six weeks they sent another cheque out because I still had not received the first. Another three weeks later I still had not received either so they ultimately credited a credit card instead.
About a month after that both cheques were returned to NC, postmarked by Canada Post as undeliverable.
Made no sense as they were sent to my home address, where I have lived for 14 years, and this same company sends me at least a dozen pieces of mail a year with never an issue.
There is definitely SOMETHING going on with Canada Post, but who would you even call to raise a concern? " |

And what did Canada Post say when you reported this to them? " |

To open an investigation - which could take six to eight weeks.
I told them not to bother, noting my disgust with the process as I had already received my money through other means. I was fairly unimpressed at that point and mentioned that I would think twice about using CP for my special business mailings in the future, but the agent was un-apologetic and did not seem to care to ensure my concern over the issue got to someone who would look in to it to ensure something like that might not happen again.
But really, what could they do? I did not pay for the mailings, so they could not refund money. They had already been returned to the original mailer, so they would not need to find them.
All it would have done at that point was cost taxpayer more money to investigate.
