    Any place in town besides DQ sells ice cream cakes?  
    If so what did you think of quality and price.

    Coop sells some. I think we had a slab cake, it was good.  
     
    Just bought one of those chapmans ice cream cakes the other day and it was good too.  
     
    The one you make yourself with ice cream sandwiches is nice too for something different

    Sells an awesome ice cream cake. We have tried a couple, the fave by far is the Skor cake.  
     
    A bit higher in price than others, but really good.  
     
    I have tried to make my own with the ice cream sandwiches as someone suggested - it was a hit too, and very easy. But you do have to make it a few days in advance so the cookies have time to soften a bit.

    got a great one (it was a round one) in the freezer by the bakery at Co-op. It was a good price and absolutely delicious. They had a few different flavors.

    Does anyone in town make ice cream cakes with actual cake in them? The ones like cold stone creamery does in the States. They have layers of devils food or red velvet cake alternated with ice cream. And before anyone says it, I could make my own ..... but I don't want to LOL. I am all for letting people use their strengths/talent to make a living and my talent is not in baking!! Nope,it sure isn't
