Has anyone gone to the fair on the last day (Sunday)? Are any rides or games shut down?

It usually depends on the weather. They were predicting showers for Sunday and if that is the case then they usually started tearing down early.

Does it cost anything if I just go walk around? I'm unable to go on rides, but I would love to grab some mini donuts and walk around the grounds!

Gives prices for gate admission and rides, so looks like you have to pay at the gate to get in.

Why do people wait last minute to get tickets? Or when its already too late? Did they not have 10mins out of their day in the 2 months before the fair to stop at the mall or somewhere to buy them? If you were just being lazy then you deserve to pay full at the gate.

Nobody has mentioned getting tickets last minute. I asked because I work. Do not comment if it doesn't pertain to my initial question.

Some people don't know their schedule that far in advance. Some want to see what kind of weather it will be before committing to going. Some people just like to live life spontaneously
