I have some beer that was left behind from a party last summer. I don't drink the brand.
Does beer have an expiry date?
How long does it keep?
No info on cases that I've looked at, or the bottles.

don't know if it can be frozen but you could use in recipes

For most part, you have about 6 months, a bit longer if it's kept in a fridge. the bottles or cans should have some sort of code on them either near the neck or at the bottom. Usually the breweries have a code like "M22152002A" - A (January) - M (December, L is usually skipped over), 22 = date of month, 15 = year, 2002 = time stamped, A = bottling facility/line

Rule in my house...never throw away alcohol.
Some beer, especially dark ales and stouts. Taste better with age. The aroma from the hops changes over time.
I was more curious about the run of the mill domestic ones.

I just don't have that much of a need for alcohol to find a way to get a type I don't like down my face. I totally get keeping that whiskey, or dark ales like you said, until they are perfect, but bud light can hit the bricks lol
