Has anyone heard if there is going to be a monster mash again this year put on by the BPS and Volunteers? This event has always been a great event for our Teens in Brandon

Just read on the Brandon Police Service fb page, that YES, there will be a Monster Mash again this year. It is on Monday Oct 31st from 7pm-11pm, open to students in grade 7-12 and Brandon School Division students only!
In the Manitoba room at westman communications place. Music, food and games as well as prizes for best costume. This is such a great event they put on for our youth. Hopefully it always continues!

Have been as a young person always had a fun and safe hallowe'en.
Keeps kids safe and property from damage. Keep them busy. Great for our youth.

It's great. My kids went for a few years,and came home with stories of all the fights every year. I brought it to BPS's attention last year before the event, and my kids said there was "not as many fights" as other years. They don't go anymore!
Better than running the streets I guess.....

In years past the Forrest/Elton students were allowed to attend. Is anyone aware if they are allowed to attend this year?

Only students from the Brandon School Division can attend the Monster Mash. It states that on the Brandon Police Service fb page. Forrest is Rolling River School Division, so they CANNOT attend Monster Mash.

Have been chaperoning the Monster Mash for the last six years along with police cadets and BPS, and have yet to see a fight break out; the kids are very closely monitored, and any potential of anything brewing, is quickly nipped in the bud.
