I've never had issues with being "capped" in Manitoba and having speeds reduced. I use my data for streaming movies, music everyday and don't have any issues unless I'm in a bad cell area. If you are worried about data speeds what would your solution be for the OP? " |

My apologies, I was incorrect about it being 5GB. Here is from MTS website:
"If you are an MTS CDMA customer and your total usage exceeds the 10GB threshold in a 30-day period, your data speed will be slowed to 128 kilobits per second for downloads and uploads, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the remainder of the 30-day period.
If you are an MTS HSPA/LTE customer and your total usage exceeds the 15GB threshold in a 30-day period, your data speeds will be slowed to 512 kilobits per second for downloads and uploads, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the remainder of the 30-day period."
My suggestion to the OP is fixed wireless, which they say is causing problems. There are other companies out there however.
