if it's a layoff, they don't need to provide you notice unless the layoff extends past a certain amount of weeks.
they have 10 days to issue your final cheque.
ROE's are mostly digital now so you just need to go to service canada and open your file, then when your employer submits your ROE online it'll match up with your claim and everything will happen digitally. no more paper ROE's. usually an employer will issue an ROE along with your final cheque.
