Listen to this very informative guest this morning and was very impressed with the information he shared on improving schools and we sure do need to look at how our schools operate.  
He has 2 books out and I think they would be great books to have in the Brandon School Division for teachers and staff. Many good Inservices and practices could come out of these suggestion to improve our system.

School Reform and Dropout Prevention.  
Enhancing a High Performance School Culture & Climate:  
New Insights for Improving Schools.  
He talked about empowering students and getting them to participate in their schools and education.  
Very informative! It's never too late to learn and apply new ideas.
