You make it sound like it's safe to walk in the woods with hunters there at the same time. It's really a tragedy in waiting as "hunting accidents" occur often and I'm sure this isn't news to you. The safe option is to stay clear of the Brandon Hills during hunting season. Problem is that there's more than one hunting season and hunters in oneform or another can be in the Brandon hills from Sept 1 till late Nov. It's a shame for those that like to walk in the hills as the Fall is the most beautiful time of the year to stroll in the woods, but if arrows or the sound of rifle firing isn't your thing them the hills probably won't be a good fit for you during those 3months.
