So my parcel was out for delivery at 8:00 this morning according to the Canada Post website it is now 5:00 and no parcel. Is this normal? Is there a chance I will receive it tomorrow? I should mention that I am within City limits.

Likely Monday. Canada post does not deliver on weekends

Should have been delivered. Were you home? Check the mailbox for a delivery notice.

There was someone here all day with the exception of 1 hour. No delivery notice in the mailbox. My husband has a parcel out for delivery today as well and his came but mine did not.

Maybe someone stole it.

How? That is a myth as they do not leave it.

Why do people post this kind of stuff? I just cant fathom why other people need to hear about it or why its a concern that it didnt arrive the exact hour it said it was suppose to. If it was a few day's later and it still had not arrived then i'd be concerned. But with in THE day?

I was only curious as to whether or not it would come tomorrow.

just skip over the thread, there are lots of others to read. Then you won't have to wonder why people post these types of things.

The lady that does the canada post parcel drop off in our area is terrible. She does not even knock, simply throws the package beside the door and leaves. We knew we would be getting a package today so we watched for it. She did not even come all the way up the steps of our porch, just tossed the parcel at the door and left. We have called in twuce previously to let management know about this lady, but alas today she was here again tossing parcels....

Glad you got your parcel. I was going to mention that I had a Canada post one come around 6:30pm once on the day it was meant to be delivered. I was surprised it came so late. And it was delivered by a guy in street clothes in a normal, unmarked vehicle. It was odd.

Not odd. the PO takes on "casuals" to do deliveries. Casuals use their own vehicles.
