Depending on what kind of nursing shoe your looking for they have a good selection of walking shoes that are great for being on your feet for 8-16 hrs. Also if your new to them sign up for a news letter and get 10% off.

looking at Unique Uniform and Marks Work Warehouse. Have you ever tried on the Dansko brand of Nursing shoe? I find they are comfortable even on those 12+hour shifts: best investment along with a good quality pair of TEDS.

I will pass this info on to my daughter....her journey is just beginning and yes I can imagine that comfort is the most important thing when you are on your feet all day!!

I second the Dansko brand. I have been wearing the same pair for 3 years, they are absolutely worth the money.

Or just buy a really good pair of walking/running shoes from Sportcheck etc.

I haven't worked in facility for a while but don't think you just have to wear white (hard to find) but I could be wrong.

I have plantar fasciitis and these are the best work shoes I have ever owned. Expensive, but they last forever. I love mine. Won't wear anything else.

To the person asking what are TEDS. TEDS are a compression stocking: helps prevent tired, achy legs/feet and decreases swelling of your legs/feet after being on them for a long day. Insurance covered the cost of my TEDS and I found the best selection/service at Dr. Kelleher's Laser Skin and Vein Clinic (they will properly measure your legs for the best fit).
