    Does anyone what's with the no parking signs on the less congested part of Aberdeen?

    Probably because the street is so narrow with vehicles parked on both sides. That street has always been an issue when it comes to parking. Defiently from First to ninth.

    This is more than a year old so maybe out-dated, but possibly related to the tidbit I've pasted below from the July 2015 CKLQ link below?  
     
    "[i]city engineers are looking at the street parking situation on Aberdeen Avenue between 1st and 9th Streets, with change likely to come in the form of no parking being allowed on one side of the street."[/i]
