Portage RCMP had to stop the bus by McGregor tonight to take in to custody 3 people going crazy on the bus. One of the guys was telling everyone he was going to kill everyone. Very horrible situation tonight that traumatized the passengers not to mention the bus driver.

Very sad but riding the bus needs to be better monitored. Only bus station I ever saw with metal detectors were in winnipeg and Edmonton. I think there needs to be better security

Also not everything that happens makes it to the news for various reason and sometimes it takes a few days for it to reach the news.

WINNIPEG — Passengers aboard a Greyhound bus heading toward Winnipeg were shaken up Tuesday night when a man having an apparent psychotic episode began swearing and making threats.  
 
RCMP spokeswoman Tara Seel said officers were dispatched to a report of a disruptive person on the bus near MacGregor, about 90 kilometres east of Brandon, at about 9 p.m. There were no weapons involved and no injuries, she said.  
 
The man was removed from the bus without incident and he was taken to hospital, Seel said.  
 
Greyhound representatives could not be reached for comment.
