Just wanted to give a shout out to them. I've always received great service at all of their locations but on Wednesday, one of their members went above and beyond IMO.  
 
I had asked for $40 but it only took $31. I was going to run in and grab the change but the worker noticed I had kids in the car and offered to do it for me. He even brought me the receipt in case I needed it, which I do need for tax time  
 
It was greatly appreciated so I didn't have to haul kids in or leave them in the car and risk a thread on ebrandon about "abandoning" children

I only go to Co-Op for my gas. They do give top notch service!! They are so friendly! Great job!!

It's sad but I do actually avoid getting gas by myself with kids in the car due to this exact situation and fear LOL. I knew there was a reason I always wait till my husband takes the car to gas up haha  
 
But seriously, ANY co op I've ever been too, in any town, always has the best service. It's amazing! This might have been the first time I've tipped one of them though...  
 
It really is the small things in life that make you stop and realize how great people are

I go to Co-op for fuel because of the service. Prompt, cheerful, and I do not get my hands smelly. I usually leave a loonie or twoonie on top of the pump because they are busy with the next customers.

On a side note, my niece worked at the Co-op pumps in Calgary for years through high school and college. They paid her a very fair wage and promoted her to various assistant management positions. The 18th Street North outlet that I frequent has long term employees so they must be paying them properly and treating them like humans, not machines for profit.
