Now that there is snow I have noticed a lot of vehicles mainly trucks are hiding their back license plates with snow. It seems kind of funny because it looks like they've cleared their whole vehicles but somehow missed there license plate completely as well as sometimes tail lights. I mean if they have time to clear there whole vehicle what's one more part so we can see their plate. I just think it's a bit suspicious that they are hiding the plates. It's not just one or two trucks either I've seen more then 20 at least

it's actually illegal to have their license plate obstructed, but no Police officer is going to go around to every single vehicle and tell them to clean it off.  
I have an SUV and can tell you that I clean it quite well, but the license plate builds up snow easily. If you don't take a glove to it, it's easy to miss cleaning.

not on purpose. I simply do not always think to clear mine. I whap the snow off ghe windows and go. I find the cars are worse-cars in general compared to trucks. Many cars are like mine-I clean mine off before I leave home and by the time i drive 10 miles to town the back end-plate too-is caked with snow/muck. I wipe of my backup camera but don't bother with the rest. What's the point? by the time I've driven. 10 blocks on salted city streets the back end is caked with muck again. It's the nature of the car. I see a lot of cars and SUVS the same-trucks, not so many

The way the snow swirls behind trucks causes this to occur.....frequently!

Found it kind of interesting these last few days how many people I saw just hop in their vehicle and take off without clearing the snow off of it. Even still today their lots driving around with snow covered windows, headlights, tail lights, licsence plates. Lots of lazy people out there I guess. But hopefully police are paying attention to those people now that it hasn't snowed in over a day, you can get a ticket.

We HAD about 6" of snow on the roof of our vehicle, until last weekend, when it was warm and I hit the brakes to make a left turn in town! It all came sliding forward and blocked my vision, right in the middle of an intersection. Thanks goodness it was in a small town and I could see out of one tiny spot and got thru the intersection, then stopped to clean it all off. Never again, will always clean all the snow off the roof from now on!!

Always clean the snow and ice from the roof of your car! Espexially if you are going on the highway.

Boy am I living in the wrong place, we've had snow falling for most of today, some vehicles have a real problem with snow accumulating on the back of the vehicle, plus if the lights put off any heat and you park things can get iced up pretty quick

I was pulled over for that reason once by an MP in Shilo and got a warning. He said it would be, if I remember right, a $200 fine.
