Lake Audy Ice Thickness

I am looking to do some ice fishing on Lake Audy at the end of December. Just curious if anyone has firsthand knowledge of the ice thickness on the lake currently?

But I was up the lake (Lake Metigoshe) on Sunday and there are open patches of water in places still. It's been so warm I don't see many lakes being much better...granted Audy is a couple hours north of Metigoshe so who knows...

I would use caution this winter on lakes and rivers. We really did not have any cold before the heavy snow came. Shore lines will be soft for a while. I am wanting to set some snares on the islands on the lake at our farm but am skeptical about crossing

It will definately be worse in southern part of the province. I cannot believe how much snow along Highway 2....

I was up there a couple weeks ago, a day or two before the snowstorm. Water at the shoreline, first 50'or so, just started freezing over.
I would be cautious.

Lake on Monday and there was over 15" of ice and people were driving out there, lots of shacks out already.

I always walk out, drill a hole and measure ice, before I decide to drive.

I would think you will have tons of ice and can drive out, but always test it for yourself before driving out.

I always feel uneasy driving on the ice, even when it is thick, I prefer to leave my vehicle on land and either walk or skidoo, never have been able to convince myself it's good to drive on kudos to those who do
