And got stuck 50 feet down the street from my driveway. Would still be there if my awesome neighbor hadn't come out to help dig/push. Snow is up past the axles on my car. Stay off the roads if possible. I'm waiting for a coworker with a 4x4 to come get me but anything less isn't going to get through.

like 4x4 or snowmobile only way to travel until roads are cleared in city.

anyone been on the hi ways yet? mb roads are only showing the #1 closed, also wondering when the plows start working in brandon...maybe Trevor can shed some light unfortunately i have a work emergency i need to take care of

Was opening up Browns Restaurant but got the call that we will be closed today... Also no cabs or buses are running is all i heard this morning... Queens near Colonial Inn is a mess! I was unable to exit from the back door of our apartment building due to the snow drifted it shut. A lot of cars can't get in or get out. Just waiting on snow removal. Be safe everyone! Can't imagine what it's like outside of the city!

starting at Noon today plowing and going till midnight. And even then we will be doing the Priority routes first.

18th St in the area of the mall is all plowed. Richmond in the same area is still a work in progress.  
Concern to keep in mind that I'm sure they have a plan to deal with is the amount of snow built up on meridians. Now easily higher than what a driver can see over when judging turns, etc. Will add a pic of 18th and of Vic.  
 
Mall parking lot being plowed but it''''d be a stretch to think they'll quite have it done by 9AM opening time.

I work for Montanas and they cancelled us until later today. Not opening until 4. I would call ahead of any place you go today to make sure they're open!

My brother was to fly back to Calgary today! Looks like the flight is cancelled now, not that he could drive to the airport on these roads anyway!

Dollar tree is now closed today. Staff can not safely make it to work

Has anyone travelled #10 North to Onanole today?

We travelled #10 to #16 from Brandon, it was not bad, some drifting and snow covered sections, lots of traffic, you'd be fine, not sure how it is closer to Onanole.

Richmond and 18th are good. Well we only traveled from Park to Canadian Tire on 18th, and from 18th to 6th on Park. That had all been cleared.

Has anyone driven the #10 south down to the #2 through souris ?

Efforts today and tomorrow (Tuesday) are focusing on "punching through" all Priority Routes to create safe & passable situations wherever possible. The Streets & Roads Dept is attempting to bring in contracted help to assist with clearing these Priority Routes, but likely not until tomorrow. No overnight parking bans have been scheduled at this current time.  
A very good resource for your outlet and the general public to find updates on where plows are working is our Online Snow-Clearing Map, found at http://gis.brandon.ca/snowclearing/.  
PLEASE NOTE: it could be later in the week before crews begin clearing residential zones. We would ask for your assistance in getting that message out to the public.  
Brandon Transit is still running on its hourly service today (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.), but buses are certainly experiencing some delays. Handi-Transit services today have been reduced to medically necessary trips ONLY. A full Brandon Transit schedule for the week can be found at: http://brandontransit.ca/route-detours  
Finally, a note from the City of Brandon Sanitation Section that as regular refuse pick-up is scheduled to resume tomorrow, back lanes which are part of a regular Tuesday collection will be cleared overnight tonight.
