Wrong number or scam?
1/9/2017 at 5:33 PM
Had a voicemail on my cell the other day. Person gave her name, said that she was told that her order needed a physical address, not a post office box, to be sent to and proceeded to say what address to send her order to. I didn't know anything about what she was talking about, but called the number she gave. The reception faded in and out during our call, but she asked if I was a UPS driver. No... She said she had been contacted that I was trying to deliver her a package, and that they needed a physical address.
I can't see how it could be a scam, but right before Xmas I got an email from "Canada Post" saying they couldn't deliver a package and to click on a link or contact my local post office. I called the post office and was told it was likely a scam/virus.
Ideas?
