Has anyone received an email lately saying to change your password? I got an email beginning of the week and tried to reset my password and then was sent numerous emails back overnight but McAfee said the email doesn't pass their fraud detection. I did get thru to the program's phone number and they sent another email with a link and McAfee said the same about fraud detection.  
Now what do I do? lol

has had trouble with their members points being stolen due to lax passwords. I got the same e-mail and changed my password without a problem. I don't have McAfee second guessing me, I imagine that is where you're having trouble.

I had seen on news that there had been a breach of security a few days back..If you google it I'm sure it was on CBC...Hope this helps..

I got thr same email and changed my password using the link in thr email.  
 
I dont have a computer, so i had to go to the site (using the link) to change password, as you cannot reset your password from the App for phones.  
 
It is legit, as there are articles all over regarding the security breach. People have lost all thei pc points they were saving.

I recently got my pc points and Canadian tire points cards hacked. Both were on the news lately.

they used my name in the email and the return link I clicked on was their genuine one.  
I guess they must have been hacked, so want to inform customers to change passwords.

I received the same email and reset my password fine. Just a further tip, when I first heard that PC point accounts were being hacked and points stolen, I mentioned it to customer service at the store.. They recommended that if you don't redeem your points constantly, change the setting on your account to redeem only, through the PC website. This way if you misplace your card, no one can use your points. Then just change your settings online before you're going to redeem points.
