I want to share a wonderful act of kindness I witnessed on Friday night. A man had been meandering around the parking lot Friday night around 5:45 pm asking for money to buy bread and sandwich meat because he was very hungry. My husband and I gave him money. At the same time, a man came over with a bag containing sandwich meat and bread. The man on the receiving end was so surprised and grateful. This brought tears to my eyes as I watched it happen. I hope the man who gave the groceries reads this because that was truly a gift from the heart. My hat is off to you.

Oh Jcoats, what a perfect world you must live in. You're going to need to jump off your high horse to truly appreciate the small things in life. You seem to lack the empathy to understand the path of the less fortunate and question their motive. What it must be like to live in your shoes.........

hearing stories like this of people's generosity and kindness. I understand some organizations give out free coats and other winter gear to those in need. My neighbour had a nice parka for a couple of days awhile back and now is wearing his old one. I hope he didn't sell it.
