Last night around 11pm I saw something I've seen happen three times over the past couple months. The first time was in mid December when the cold really hit. There was a woman in a silver Toyota echo that gave a gentleman ( whom is obviously without alot) a pair of gloves and a heavy coat then bought him a hot beverage and chicken. I also heard her asking if he knew where the shelter was and if he'd like a drive, the man was was crying and she hugged him until he stopped. The second time I saw her, this same man was outside the store again, looking a tad under the weather ..she saw him and immediately smiled at him and asked how he was. She told him to go inside with her so she could get him something to eat. He left the store with her hugging her with tears and a thank you maam. Tonight again I came across this lovely lady, her friend was there again too, he had just got to the payphones when she pulled in as I was just leaving. As soon as he seen her his face lit up and he immediately went to her. I heard him thanking her for being so kind to him and telling her he's used to being yelled at or called names as he's a homeless person. I watched this woman tear up, hug this man and tell him how sorry she was for the ignorance and cruelty of others. She offered to get him something to eat or drink but he refused saying she'd done far too much for him as it was. She asked him to wait for a second while she ran into the store. When she came back out she had a bag with stuff in it, handed it to him along with a piece of paper.when she left I asked the man what she had given him, she had bought him food for a few days and said if he wanted to help her out this spring with her garden to give her a call. She's got a bad back and offered half the garden food to him if he'd give her a hand...... to this lady I say you're an amazing lady, thank you for being you! You made me tear up and smile each time I came across you helping this man. Your children are very lucky to have such a great role model...kudos
