Hanging a TV instead of using the Stand

Just wondering what people do with their stands that come with the tv's when they hang them on the wall. We always hang ours but now we have an old 32' RCA that we want to set on a shelf somewhere and we are standless. Feeling silly for throwing it away. Really don't want to buy a NEW one...not even sure you can?

We just hung two at work. Bases are going into storage in a small box. Could try ordering a base from the company.

Check the ads on here there are all kinds of stands/bases or units

Check out the TV repair shop. They may have an extra base or 2 kicking around. We store ours also for just in case we should need it

If you still want to put it on a stand

you can find stands with mounts built-in so the tv would be "floating" above the stand
