He's also uncapped schools' early years class sizes. It was the NDP that reduced them, to improve learning outcomes and identify special needs children early.

Another reduction he has made for the good of education as well and I know since I am in the school system.

Maybe Pallister took the cap off seeing that the NDP forgot the minor detail that schools will need additional classrooms!  
 
It didn't help that the NDP got very reckless on their spending in the last 17 years including some major Hydro blunders.

The correct context to which the lowering of the PST was to be in was by 2020. Mr. Pallister never said it would be anything other than by that time.

Well it's easy for Pallister to say he'll reduce the PST in 2020 cause he won't be in power then and he probably knew it. I sure got caught voting for wrong person.

Most politicians promise while campainging, to break it later. So shouldn't be any new news there. But this premier has disappointed a lot of ppl.  
 
Also regarding deficit, and premier trying to save money. He should know there will always be a deficit and there's nothing a politician can do to overcome that.  
 
And I agree with the post he will not be in power in 2020.

I thought his mandate ran until the fall of 2020?  
 
Plenty of time to reduce a spring budget.  
 
I think the PST should be left as is until at least until a proper budget surplus happens.  
 
 
Even then that one percent should be dedicated for some years to our accumulated debt and not spent. Even with our low interest payments servicing the debt is money either best spent correctly on other things or leaving it in taxpayers pockets.

Break promises people....get over it!!! I know one thing...I will never ever vote Liberals....they are the worse liars ever!!!!!
