Brown's ATV Derby
4/26/2017 at 3:07 PM
Great event! I attend every year. There is typically a Mudbog to coincide with the derby, but due to lack of interest, and to much standing water from the spring melt, the Mudbog events have been cancelled this year.
The derby trail is around 18 miles this year. There are "dry" routes available if you are uncomfortable riding in the deep water/mud conditions. Hip waders are suggested as well as snorkels on your machine if you want to play in the deep stuff! The ride is through Native prairie pasture, Bush, and sand hills. Very scenic ride actually.
Entry is free to the derby, but donations are welcome.
All riders and passengers must have helmets to go on trails. Everyone must respect the property and stay on the designated trails.
The staging area for the derby will be 1/2 mile south of mud pits. Please watch for signs. Ride is from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
There will Concessions on site.
The Staging area is 6 miles west of Souris on #2 highway and 1 Mile north. (Watch for signs)
See you May.13th!!
